What is Mediation?

During mediation both parties will meet with a third-party neutral called a mediator. Your mediator will not take sides. Depending on your preferences, your attorney may or may not be present during the mediation sessions. However, it is always important to share resolution options with your attorney, before any agreements are made.
The parties involved and the neutral third-party mediator will meet on the day of mediation to attempt to come to a mutual agreement between parties. Jason Naimi, the managing partner of Naimi Mullins Law Group, has decades of experience litigating complex high-asset high-conflict divorce cases in Las Vegas. A mediator does not act like a judge. Rather than arbitrarily ruling on an issue the way a judge would, a trained mediator guides parties to reach decisions that benefit both parties.
